Tom McCall Waterfront Park is a 30-acre park located along the Willamette River in downtown Portland. Once the site of a freeway, it was reclaimed as public space and is now a beloved gathering spot for locals and tourists.
The park features a riverside promenade, the Salmon Street Springs fountain, and the Japanese American Historical Plaza. In spring, the park's cherry blossoms create a stunning pink canopy.
Walk, jog, or bike along the river, enjoy a picnic on the grass, or cool off in the fountain. The park hosts many of the city's major festivals, including the Portland Rose Festival and the Waterfront Blues Festival.
