Heartland of America Park is a sprawling riverfront park in Omaha, recently revitalized as part of "The RiverFront" project. It connects downtown Omaha to the Missouri River.
The park features a large lake, walking paths, a pier, and the spectacular Heartland of America Fountain (check schedule). It offers scenic views of the river and the Iowa shoreline.
Walk or bike along the riverfront trails, enjoy the lake views, visit the Lewis & Clark interpretive exhibits, or take a gondola ride if available. It connects to the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge.
