Omaha, Nebraska
Gene Leahy Mall is a vibrant 9.6-acre park in the heart of downtown Omaha. Recently renovated as part of "The RiverFront," it serves as a central gathering space connecting the Old Market to the north downtown area.
The park features a performance pavilion, a sculpture garden, an interactive water feature, a modern playground (the Arches), and the beloved iconic metal slides.
Ride the famous slides, enjoy a concert at the pavilion, let kids play in the Arches, walk the promenade, or relax on the central lawn. In winter, enjoy the holiday lights.
Year-round. Summer evenings for concerts and picnics are popular. The park is beautifully lit at night.
Free and open to the public daily. Street parking and nearby garages are available. It is a pedestrian-friendly zone.
Restrooms, picnic areas, dog park, and plenty of seating. Food trucks are often nearby or on-site during events.
Bring a piece of cardboard or wax paper if you want to go faster on the metal slides! It's a great starting point for exploring downtown.
Connects directly to the Old Market, Heartland of America Park, and the Holland Performing Arts Center.
