Omaha, Nebraska
The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge is a 3,000-foot cable-stayed bridge that connects Omaha, Nebraska, across the Missouri River to Council Bluffs, Iowa. Opened in 2008, it is the first pedestrian bridge to link two states. The bridge features a curving S-shape design and two 210-foot towers.
Locals affectionately refer to it as "Bob the Bridge," and it has become a popular spot for walkers, runners, and cyclists. At the center of the bridge, visitors can stand on the state line, with one foot in Nebraska and the other in Iowa.
