Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park is a family-owned park famous for its eccentric Ferris wheel. It sits right on the boardwalk and offers a classic carnival atmosphere.
The Wonder Wheel (built 1920) is unique for its swinging cars that slide on rails. Spook-A-Rama is a classic old-school dark ride.
Ride the Wonder Wheel for panoramic views, enjoy the Phoenix roller coaster, or take kids on the many kiddie rides available.
Sunset is magical for a ride on the Wheel. Weekends can be busy, but the lines move reasonably well.
Pay-per-ride system using credits card. No entrance fee to enter the park grounds.
Pizzeria and snack bar on-site. Restrooms are available for guests. The park is wheelchair accessible, though some rides are not.
Choose a "stationary" car on the Wonder Wheel if you want a gentle view, or a "swinging" car for a thrill. The swinging cars are not for the faint of heart!
Luna Park, Coney Island Beach, and Nathan's Famous.
