Overview

Lumen Field is a multi-purpose stadium located in Seattle's SoDo neighborhood. It is the home field for the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL and the Seattle Sounders FC of MLS. Opened in 2002, the stadium is famous for its loud atmosphere, aided by its architectural design which reflects noise onto the field, earning its fans the nickname 'The 12th Man.'

Design and Events

The open-air stadium features a roof covering 70 percent of the seating area and offers spectacular views of the downtown skyline. In addition to sports, it hosts major concerts, trade shows, and other large-scale events, serving as a key venue for entertainment in the Pacific Northwest.
