Old Hickory Lake is a major reservoir on the Cumberland River, located northeast of Nashville. Formed by the Old Hickory Lock and Dam, the lake covers approximately 22,500 acres and offers 440 miles of shoreline. It is a popular recreational destination for boating, fishing, jet skiing, and sailing.
