Old Hickory Lake is a major reservoir on the Cumberland River, located northeast of Nashville. Formed by the Old Hickory Lock and Dam, the lake covers approximately 22,500 acres and offers 440 miles of shoreline. It is a popular recreational destination for boating, fishing, jet skiing, and sailing. The lake's waters are home to a variety of fish species, and it frequently hosts national and regional fishing tournaments, drawing anglers from across the country.
