Diridon Station is the central passenger rail depot for San Jose and a major transit hub for Silicon Valley. Built in 1935 in the Italian Renaissance Revival style, it serves Caltrain, Amtrak, and VTA light rail.
The station is currently undergoing planning for a major expansion to accommodate future high-speed rail and BART service. It connects the South Bay with San Francisco and other regional destinations.
