Mesa, Arizona
The Champlin Fighter Museum was a renowned aviation museum in Mesa, located at Falcon Field, known for its extensive collection of fighter aircraft from World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. It was particularly famous for its collection of WWI aces' memorabilia.
Although the museum closed in 2003 and its collection was moved to the Museum of Flight in Seattle, it remains a significant part of Mesa's aviation history.
