Mesa Grande Cultural Park preserves a massive Hohokam platform mound, one of the largest and most significant prehistoric structures in Arizona. Built between 1100 and 1400 AD, the mound served as a civic and ceremonial center for the ancient Hohokam people.
The park offers visitors a chance to learn about the engineering and culture of the Hohokam through interpretive trails and a visitor center.
