Memphis, Tennessee
The Peabody Ducks Lobby is the famous grand lobby of The Peabody Memphis hotel. It is world-renowned for the daily March of the Peabody Ducks, a tradition dating back to the 1930s.
Twice a day, at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., the resident ducks march from their rooftop palace, down the elevator, and across a red carpet to the lobby fountain (and back), led by the Duckmaster.
Visitors can gather in the lobby to watch the charming duck march, enjoy afternoon tea or a cocktail, and admire the hotel's elegant historic interior.
