The Memphis Zoo, located in Overton Park, is consistently ranked among the top zoos in the country. It is home to more than 3,500 animals representing over 500 species, set in immersive, naturalistic habitats.
Major exhibits include the Teton Trek, which recreates the Yellowstone landscape, the Northwest Passage with polar bears, and the Zambezi River Hippo Camp. The zoo is also known for its beautiful Egyptian-themed entrance.
