San Jose, California
This historic site in downtown San Jose features two significant buildings: the Peralta Adobe and the Fallon House. The Peralta Adobe, built in 1797, is the oldest building in San Jose and the last remaining structure from the original pueblo.
The Fallon House is a Victorian mansion built in the 1850s by an early mayor. Together, they tell the story of the city's transition from a Spanish farming community to an American city.
