Oakland Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Atlanta, founded in 1850. It is a Victorian-style garden cemetery and the final resting place of many notable Atlantans, including 'Gone with the Wind' author Margaret Mitchell and golf legend Bobby Jones. The cemetery also features a Confederate section and a Jewish section, and offers guided tours of its historic grounds.
