The LAPD Hooper Heliport is located on the roof of the C. Erwin Piper Technical Center near Union Station. It is the largest metropolitan police aviation facility in the United States.
Serves as the home base for the Los Angeles Police Department's Air Support Division. It supports patrol, surveillance, and emergency response operations.
The facility includes hangars, maintenance areas, and a control tower. It is capable of housing a large fleet of police helicopters.
