The Venetian Pool is a historic public swimming pool in Coral Gables, formed from an old coral rock quarry in 1924. It is the only swimming pool on the National Register of Historic Places.
Fed by spring water from an underground aquifer, the pool features two waterfalls, coral caves, and Mediterranean-style architecture with loggias and porticos. It is a celebrated example of George Merrick's vision for the City Beautiful movement.
