About

Historic Mission Church

Ysleta Mission, also known as Misión de Corpus Christi de Ysleta del Sur, is the oldest continuously operated parish in the State of Texas. Established in the 17th century by Tigua Indians and Spanish friars, it is a key site on the El Paso Mission Trail.

The mission represents the deep historical roots of the region, blending Native American and Spanish colonial heritage. It continues to serve as a spiritual center and a testament to the enduring culture of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo.
