The Spokane River Centennial Trail is a 37-mile paved recreational trail that follows the Spokane River from Nine Mile Falls to the Idaho border. It is a favorite for cyclists, runners, and walkers.

The section through Riverfront Park and Gonzaga is particularly scenic and urban; the western sections are more rugged.
