Ellwood Mesa Open Space is a spectacular coastal bluff area in Goleta offering panoramic ocean views and miles of trails. It is adjacent to the butterfly preserve and provides access to Ellwood Beach.
Popular for walking, jogging, mountain biking, and horseback riding. It is also a fantastic location for watching the sunset and spotting whales during migration season.
Open daily. Free public access. Parking is available at the end of Santa Barbara Shores Drive or near the butterfly preserve.
