About

Fort Worth Botanic Garden

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden, established in 1934, is the oldest major botanic garden in Texas. Spanning 120 acres, it features more than 2,500 species of plants across 23 specialty gardens. Highlights include the celebrated Rose Garden, inspired by European designs, and the tranquil Japanese Garden with its koi ponds and winding paths.

The garden is also home to the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT), a center for conservation and knowledge. Visitors can stroll through the Fuller Garden, explore the Rainforest Conservatory, or enjoy seasonal events like 'Christmas in the Garden.' It serves as a lush urban oasis for nature lovers and a hub for horticultural education.
