Bay City State Park is located on the shores of Saginaw Bay in Bay City, Michigan. It features over 2,000 acres of wetland woods, meadows, and a sandy beach. The park is a haven for migratory birds and offers a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities year-round.
Summer visitors enjoy swimming, picnicking, and camping. The park has miles of hiking and biking trails. In winter, the park is popular for ice fishing and cross-country skiing. Birdwatching is excellent, especially in the marsh areas.
A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry. The park is open year-round. The campground offers electrical hookups and mini-cabins. Dogs are allowed on a leash but not on the swimming beach.
