The National Museum of the American Sailor is located at Naval Station Great Lakes in Illinois. It is the only museum dedicated to the history and heritage of the enlisted Sailor in the United States Navy. The museum honors the service and sacrifice of sailors through exhibits and educational programs.

The museum is located just outside the main gate of Naval Station Great Lakes and is open to the public. Admission and parking are free. It is open Monday through Saturday.
