El Paso, Texas
The Plaza Theatre is a historic landmark and performing arts center in downtown El Paso. Built in 1930, it is an excellent example of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and features an atmospheric ceiling that mimics a twilight sky with twinkling stars.
After a major restoration, the theater reopened in 2006 and now hosts Broadway shows, concerts, and film festivals. It is home to the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ and serves as a cultural jewel of the city.
