The Frank Erwin Center, affectionately known as "The Drum," was a multi-purpose arena on the UT Austin campus. For over 40 years, it hosted Longhorns basketball games and major concerts before closing in 2022.
It is being replaced by the Moody Center and is slated for demolition to make way for the expansion of the Dell Medical School. The venue holds a special place in the memories of many Austinites.
